The holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas are upon us. Aside from the obvious reason of having the day off (a day of reflection and giving thanks and giving), it’s also a holiday off for celebration, spending time together as a family, and EATING.
Mmmmm, can you smell it? The baked ham and turkey slow cooking in the oven…the potato salad,mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and dressing/stuffing?…and oh! Over there, is that…no, it can’t be, is it CHEESECAKE, CHOCOLATE CAKE and PIE?? Oh MY!
Yes, for some, that is going to be the feast that is laid out before them this holiday (among many other items that I’ve left off).
